Old and new vacuum piston rods. The new one we had approval to make from stainless steel, the original had been built up by brass spraying, but that had come off.

Old and new brake pins, of which there are over 50 of various sizes and well over 100 bushes, all of which have been replaced! photograph M.Webb.

Most of the brake rigging is fitted, in the picture can be seen an adjuster on the left, the cylinder and rod in the middle, but not connected, and the end of the hand brake on the right.
